1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service, messaging us on WhatsApp, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

D One House Nigeria provides residential and commercial cleaning services, including standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, office and commercial cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, and custom quotes for larger or unique properties, across Abuja, FCT and surrounding districts.

3. Quotes & Pricing

Estimates provided over WhatsApp, by phone, or through our website are based on the information you provide (property size, district, service type). Final pricing is confirmed after we understand the full scope of the job and may be adjusted if the actual condition or size of the property differs materially from what was described. All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless stated otherwise.

4. Booking & Scheduling

Bookings are confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from us (via WhatsApp or email) with your date, time, and address. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the agreed time window; delays due to traffic, prior jobs running over, or circumstances beyond our control will be communicated as soon as possible.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• You may reschedule or cancel a booking at no charge with at least [24] hours’ notice.
• Cancellations with less than [24] hours’ notice, or a no-show at the scheduled time, may incur a cancellation fee of [amount/percentage] to cover crew scheduling costs.
• We reserve the right to reschedule in rare cases (e.g. crew emergency, security concerns at a location) and will offer the next available slot at no extra cost.

6. Payment Terms

• Payment can be made by bank transfer, Paystack or Flutterwave payment link, or cash on the day of service, as agreed at booking.
• For commercial, embassy, and government contracts, payment terms (including any deposit) will be set out in a separate signed agreement or proposal.
• Recurring plans (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) are billed on the schedule agreed at signup; continued non-payment may result in suspension of service.

7. Access to Property

You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time, including any gate codes, estate clearance, or security notifications needed for our team to enter. Delays caused by access issues on your end may be treated as a late cancellation.

8. Our Team

All D One House Nigeria cleaning staff are background-checked before their first assignment. For embassy, government, and other sensitive locations, additional vetting or documentation can be arranged in advance — please let us know your requirements before the first visit.

9. Satisfaction & Service Issues

If you are not satisfied with a completed clean, please contact us within [24–48] hours so we can address it — typically by returning to correct the specific issue at no extra charge. We are not able to offer refunds for concerns raised significantly after the service was completed.

10. Liability

We carry care in handling your property and take reasonable precautions with breakables and valuables; please secure or point out any particularly fragile or high-value items before we begin. To the fullest extent permitted under Nigerian law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the specific item affected, or the value of the service provided, whichever is lower — except where the loss results from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, which is not excluded.

11. Client Responsibilities

Please disclose in advance any pets, hazardous materials, ongoing repairs, or areas that should not be accessed, so our team can plan safely and appropriately.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts sitting in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
